A Bethany Beach homeowner since 2001, and a regular summer visitor since the 1980's, Richard firmly believes that Delaware Shore real estate commissions have become, in his words, “bloated, anti-competitive, and oligopolistic.” A 1977 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s College and Graduate School as well as a 1983 cum laude graduate of Georgetown Law, Richard has been an A-rated lawyer in D.C., Maryland, and Virginia for almost a quarter-century. He got a real estate broker’s license and founded MWRealty to give home sellers an effective alternative to high-priced brokerages by providing discount services.

Richard is a proud member of the National Association of Realtors, and he subscribes to its code of ethics. He is also a member of the Maryland Association of Realtors and the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors. He is a member of MWRealty's exclusive "Million-Dollar Club," having earned commissions on over a million dollars in sales this year.
